Dear Worship Leader,
I believe God has an incredible hope and a future planned for YOU.
It is bright. It is beautiful. It is unique to you and your gifting. It will affect those around you. It will destroy darkness and usher in light in the most unlikely of places. The songs coming from the depths of your soul will speak words of encouragement and love over the broken. God is bringing many of you out of a season of mourning and joy is breaking forth! Rivers of living water will begin to flow from your lips as you lead your congregations, your small groups, children and adults into His presence.
But first, God says SURRENDER. Surrender and abide in Him.
ABIDE. Obey, acknowledge, follow and respect Jesus above anyone and anything else. Go where He leads. See what He sees. Say what He directs you to say. Quiet your soul, listen and obey.
Choose His will and ways above your own.
Jesus says, "Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. "I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him (her), (s)he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
God has heard your prayers, seen your tears and He recognizes the amazing fruit in your life. This is why He is going to use you to do incredible things for His glory. He sees how you serve Him in His church. He sees how you love on your worship team and serve them, expecting nothing in return. He sees you praying and seeking His face when no one else is watching.
Don’t believe the lies of the enemy who would come to tell you that you’re not good enough, young enough, old enough, pretty enough, talented enough…
Satan is the Father of lies and he wants to keep you stuck. Stuck in a place of uncertainty, stuck in a place of insecurity, stuck in a place outside of your God-given destiny. And sometimes he likes to use people closest to you, people you love, admire and respect to say and do things that discourage and deter you from following the very thing God has called you to do. Don’t blame these people. Forgive them and recognize whom you are actually wrestling against, who this fight is really with.
Shut the enemy up. Declare that greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world. You are more than a conqueror. You are the loved beyond measure daughter of the most high King and He says you are enough!
Make God, our Father Lord of all- your thoughts, your actions, your family. Everything.
Apart from God you can do nothing.
But with Him you will do the impossible.
So draw close to God. And when you lead, take others with you. It’s what you were created to do.
Since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. We continually ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of his holy people in the kingdom of light.
